SMRT 2020.

I was doing my routine paper checks today and glanced over an article which says that Singapore MRT is going to expand the MRT system: Doubled by 2020, 100 new train stations.

Wow.

What's this, let's take the green line, interchange at Buona Vista to the pink line, take that to Rochester Park, then interchange to the gold line to ACJC? Train station coming out next to the smiley, or perhaps the driveway behind. Emerge out of the subway and go straight to the Malay food stall for a good plate of sambal stingray or deep fried chicken submerged in sweet chili with pulps of flour.

ahhh good times.

but i digress.

Singapore MRT, meet the New York Subway System.

That's right.

But I guess Singapore's one would still be much much better. at least I'm confident that they'll keep the rats out of the rails.
