Dikembe Mutombo. Respect

When I was watching the live coverage of President Bush's State of the Union address the other day, I knew that Dikembe Mutombo was going to be there, perhaps as a guest of honor, according to the website. But when his name was mentioned, followed by this one and a half minute tribute of him, I was moved, and felt proud to be an NBA fanatic. He was even sitting next to the first lady. wow. and he had to fly all the way from Washington D.C. to San Antonio the next day to play against the Spurs on national TV. The 40 year old Center of the Houston Rockets proved his worth and played 30 minutes, filling in for the injured Yao Ming, helping them win the game. 40 years old. Respect.

"Mutombo believes that God has given him the opportunity to do great things."

To God be the glory.

I'M OUT!!!
