Fall Festival!

Well, nothing much happened to me today. until the afternoon.

I woke up, had breakfast, met a cool Filipino family at the dining hall (by pure coincidence), then I went to the library, supposedly to study, but I ended up sleeping. I was so tired the night before. Perhaps the schoolwork's getting into my system.

After that, I went for Fall Festival at Morning Star New York, my church. I had to mend a booth called tic-tac-toss, which was kind of like throwing three rubber balls into a tic-tac-toe grid. If you get a line, you get a prize. that kind of thing. fun, but tiring.

SUPER TIRING.

but to see the smiles on people's faces makes it worth doing. Check out these photos.

some of the kids, whom I thought was some of the most adorable I've seen ever.

see, my hair is horribly long. but I like it, somehow I look deceptively thinner. hahaha

And my roommate and his "gang" are talking about gross stuff now. REALLY GROSS.

Oh, speaking of which, my roommate was talking to me just now, and he was bitching about our other apartment mate. The guy who messed up the kitchen? guess what, his mom flew all the way from MIAMI. and cleaned our sink. golly.

Really. GOLLY.

I'll slap my kid if he can't even clean up after himself at 18. and this guy has a girlfriend. Talk about responsibility, man.

I'm 20, unattached, can cook, can clean the entire house, can do my own laundry, can babysit, polite, and can tutor and teach kids some stuff.

Seriously, I can drop school now and be a full time male maid. I'm even Filipino. completes the resume.

oh, one thing, I've yet to learn how to sew things. I admit. Embroidery was never my thing.

Anyways, I'm hitting the books this weekend. I missed one book in the previous list. so it's Genesis, Job, Iliad, The Bacchae, Aeneid, and Metamorphoses. That's roughly 1000+ pages of comparative lit i've done, more than perhaps all the reading that I've done in sec 3-4. honest. Of course I'm not gonna read thru everything again. Just make mental notes and stuff. Hope I'll do much better here.

I'm convinced now that God is taking me out of my comfort zone. I'm just letting Him lead the way. Tough times ahead, but I'm ready for growth.

Red Auerbach, R.I.P. your passion for the game will always be a great motivation for us.

I'M OUT!!!
