dream come true!!!

one of the things that i wanted to do before i die has been accomplished:

i watched a live NBA game.

and the hype lived up to the game itself.


I would like to thank NYU for the dirt cheap tickets (11 usd).

Next time though, I hope there will be people who would go with me. I really went insane.

The Knicks lost, 103-100, to the Toronto Raptors, but so what? I never expected the Knicks to win anyways. But yes, I'm going to start supporting them, especially as long as NYU gives out these 11 dollar tickets.

I must admit, it was at the top of Madison Square Garden, but the view was pretty good, just not courtside la, and of course the T-shirt giveaways will not reach you.

But up there is the most animated section, and I joined in the entire jubilation of the event. It just felt so great to scream and yell and destress in such an atmosphere. Jubilation turned to animosity as the game went bad, with haters yelling at Knicks center Eddy Curry to "go to the gym and lose them man boobs" and there are those who are naming him "fat" and "lazy". Of course, being the uptight Asian that I was, I just smiled and laughed at those wild people. But there were moments when unexpectedly I jumped out (literally) of my seat and pumped my fists or flung out my arms in disbelief. Goodness I LOVE THIS GAME. And of course, I was only a bit overdressed for the event, as you can see above, with people in their Knicks jerseys and stuff all around me. But I don't care, I'm a celebrity. hahahaha

Enoch, eat your heart out. Come faster.

By the way, I consciously took off my beret for that photo so that I won't hear any more complaints. hahaha

So many more things to say, but I'm scared you guys might get bored. But yes, you have no idea how much I wanted to do this ever since I started watching the NBA at a tender age of 9.

Ok, back to reality! Homework time!
