is the day that I have my alloted time for Room Selection.

Room Selection.

It's a matter of life and death to me, after what has transpired this year.

I have decided that, at all costs, I will prefer a single room. A bit more ex, but i'll most probably be working next year anyways. so that makes up for it.

whatever happens, I will not risk having a _______ roommate again next year. I want to live in silence. Where I can meditate, study, and recuperate. And not have to hear, smell, and SEE things that are... repulsive.

Anyways, it's really been a great time the past few weeks of inactivity. It's such a great thing to be constantly reminded that we are here on Earth for a mission, a calling higher than what we can see or perceive. That thought alone helps one look at people a bit differently.

By God's grace, I pulled through one whole school year. And although I may be scarred and traumatized at times, at the end of it all I wish my deeds have planted a seed of kindness in his heart.

I also realized that petty quarrels are too insignificant for us to even pay attention to them. People can think what they want about us; the world is too big and there are too many things out there for us to be wasting time on irrational people or circumstances. If they wish to stay angry at you, wish them all the best, leave them with God's blessings, and move on.

Guess what? it's exactly 30 days left before I leave New York, and 17 more after that before I visit Singapore again! Really can't wait to meet Mr. Sun again back there in the tropics. I was so excited to whip on my shorts and flipflops last week, but the weather was mad and decided to plunge again. Snow in spring. really. It's mad.

Well, I'll end here. Pray that I'll get a fantastic rooming assignment next year! and course registration's coming up next week too! lots of crucial things in preparation for next year, so I'm really praying a lot for guidance and discernment.
