summer rain
Good day citizens, things have been pretty hectic. Jamie and Liz are in town so I'm doing my annual visitation of tourist spots. And I have to say, this round was more meaningful than the last few. Last time was more of an "I can't believe I'm here" tour. This time was more of an "it's such a privilege to be here" kind of tour.
And dinner with Karno blew me away. Almost blew my jeans' button away too.
Jokes aside, work has been really dull. Don't get me wrong, I love my job. It's convenient and fulfilling all rolled in a nice matzoh ball, but post-summer semester means no clients, which means heaps of time to burn.
And here's the physical manifestation of my work today. Made with my bare hands, creativity, and random office material.
Just posting it for your enjoyment, and for memory's sake. FYI, it does make sound. I tried to make it look like a real guitar, but I figured that I should not forgo functionality for aesthetics. So I settled for the cajon look. Anyways, rubber bands can only hold so much tension.
So the next time I'm bored to death at work, I have no more excuse to be unproductive. I can hone my creativity by either making more office musical instruments or writing symphonies using whatever I have.
Alright, I'm going to turn in. Go Michael Phelps, win all the golds, then barter them all to the Chinese in exchange of the US balance deficit.
Way to show patriotism.
I'M OUT!!!
