good job, bert.
I did the smartest thing a person could do the day before his flight -- watch Snakes on a Plane.
So later, I might bring a couple of dosages of antivenoms for myself. Along with a taser gun, a flamethrower, and a crossbow.
I think the first person to shout "Enough is enough" when snakes attack will survive. So i'll make sure i do that first.
In other news, I miss people; still the same people.
and i have almost finished packing. After filtering out lots of my things. Finally.
A simple prayer:
God, please help me move on with my life.
Teach me to trust in You, God;
Remind me that all this pain right now will not be in vain,
That one day I can look back and say "So that's what it was for!"
Fill my life with Your will, not mine,
Surround me with people who will encourage me,
And let those who have touched my life be blessed abundantly;
That as they continue to bless others, Allow me to be a blessing to them as well.
As I move on, teach me Your ways in my everyday dealings;
When to speak my influence and words of encouragement to people,
and when to withdraw my selfish thoughts and surrender them to You.
Thank You for showing me that I can do it -- That I can discern right from wrong.
Remind me, Lord, that I walk the earth not because of my own strength, but because of Your grace.
